Training

The Little Dog House Small Dog Center offers daycare & in-home sleepovers 
for small dogs, as well as training for all sizes of dogs. 

We specialize in small dogs under 30 lbs and have experience providing daycare
to even the most shy dogs and those traumatized from lives in puppy mills or other situations of neglect or abuse. 

We provide a small, cozy, home-like setting that is not overwhelming or intimidating.

Providing daycare for small sized dogs means that the dogs play only amongst
same-sized friends and are never made anxious by the presence of larger dogs. 

We have a 1,200 square foot playroom as well as a smaller, calmer quiet room. 

The dogs are managed positively with reinforcement, gentle verbal guidance, distraction, and redirection.

Sleepovers

DAYCARE is more than dog sitting dogs left alone all day. 
It is also about dogs getting to be with other dogs, playing, snuggling,
and learning to be sociable, making friends, building confidence,
and gaining independence. Daycare is something good you can do for your dog even if you are home all day. 

​SLEEPOVERS can be arranged for dogs attending our daycare for a minimum of 3 months before the sleepover date.  Our sleepovers are in our homes where your dog is treated just like one of our own.  

TRAINING is something we owe our dogs in exchange for the love they give.  Everything we do with our dogs should be fun and pleasurable.  Our modern, scientific-based training focuses on using positive experiences and interactions, reward and reinforcement, kindness and patience. The goal is to build strong, mutually respectful partnerships between person
​and pet in which both parties know how to behave well together.
